Aaron More the ref again for the final, I thought he was very poor on Sunday

Seemed to ignore the laying on, shoulders charges and head shots from York, then pulled us for holding down. Don't think Toulouse will approach the game in the same way, some may be ok

He let way too much ride in that first 30 minutes. I have no issues with a ref letting play run and mostly prefer it but if a teams trying to take advantage of that like York did then the whistle should come out. I get what the refs try to do though in playoff rugby and let it play.



I recall the set that York were repeatedly holding down with Trinigy players fighting to get up and him gesturing them to play ball (with York players still on them). Then the next set gives a very soft holding down for a trinity player having a single hand on a York player.



The crowd got on his back early after he let a lot fly.



To be honest I think we’ve been reffed harsher than championship clubs this season. Countless times we play closer to SL pace and are slowed down but allowances seem to be given to the opposition many cases. Would be interesting to see over season how many penalty counts we have won.



With being on front foot most games you’d expect more than 50% but it feels far less.



Maybe I have it wrong. It’s just the way it comes across.



I’ve nothing against Moore or other refs. It’s a tough job and I respect them going out there to do it. But I don’t always agree with how games are reffed inconsistently that’s all.

Both the North Stand and East Stand only have a few remaining tickets left.

I can see this being a sell out.

There’s about half seats left E01, E05 and E06 in east. 2/3/4 are pretty much sold out. So not far off 2000 sold in there.

Not sure I agree the one block with plenty of seats is the block reserved for away fans, other than the family block E7 it looks pretty sold out

I doubt there will be many away fans to fill that block, I would be surprised if more than a dozen turn up.

Tickets definitely flying out just a few in the East and the Western Terrace now available great effort in sales since Sunday.

As we have some out in the north, east (pretty much) and fox end and sold 5500, does that mean that the north and east hold both about 2500 each and south 500 give or take?



I guess that means the west holds about 1700-2000 or so.



Hopefully we can sell out. I think we will see about 6.5k or thereabouts.

Even with 400 York fans only got 6k.



A sell out is possible and would be a fantastic achievement by the club as it would be pretty much 7000 trinity fans

I would start Vangana instead of Griffin and bring Cozza onto the bench and other than that stick with the same team. I know there might be noise from some fans to bring Trueman in but I dont think a final is a good place to give a halfback his debut.

Powell’s going to have to decide who moves into the second row when Vagana’s blowing. That’s the one bit of his game I think he really needs to improve - he’s a brilliant ball carrier but he stops working off the ball when he’s tired. So if we need to spell him, who goes into that right SR spot? Rodwell after he’s done damage in the middle?



Personally I think that 17th man will be Kay - even if we don’t need him for cover he can come on at 13 and do a job.
