Wigan Rugby League Club



Yes, I'm a Saints fan, but it's a shame to see how a great club like yours has slipped in recent years.

I used to fear the games against Wigan. Not any more.

I expect I shall get some stick now from some of your 'fans', but as a true supporter of Rugby League, it is sad to see what appears to be happening at the DW

I remember one surreal half time at Central Park. A mascot race was organised. Ronnie the Rhino, Winston the Warrior and the Edwards Pie Man lined up for a race. Ronnie was rapid in tose days and creamed the opposition. Winston was a fair distance behind and miles behind was a sluggish giant pie on legs that couln't even run straight ambling all over the pitch.

Must have been a steak an ale pie!
