club used to have these events helped out by volunteers free of charge......and thats when we had 4,000 regulars and it was in the stadium. sigh



Not sure what $34 NZ is in GBP (£15?) but unless you can collect your 2025 shirt and there's a Bnd/fee pint of sponsors ale, i await pictures of 50 in attendance (at best).

They’ve got to try these things but I too am a little bit afraid this might prove a bit damp squib. London fans aren’t really based around one area in London and public transport is often up the spout on a Sunday. They’ve worked to try and encourage local families to attend but those local families have been from Wimbledon and the surrounding area I suspect and were heavily discounted and RP isn’t Wimbledon. Never easy is it but…

We had a reasonable turn out when we met up just before Christmas last year.

It was a shame that we got kicked out of the pub, but it was a memorable evening for those that attended.

Oh I don't know, in the past they have found it very easy to appoint the wrong CEOs & Coaches.

I'm going and the lads I watch matches with are going. We're using it as a springboard for a Christmas drink. Watching the team have a bit of a run out while enjoying an adult beverage and embracing the festive spirit is a win for me.

Sadly, the event's been cancelled. Adverse weather conditions and circumstances beyond their control are the reasons given.

Sorry to hear this but not surprised. I thought it was a little ambitious. They got quite a bit of traction with families (no doubt on cheap tickets) but that was in Wimbledon. Roslyn Park isn’t Wimbledon and transport on a cold and windy Sunday is not massively attractive. I would like to support this type of thing but couldn’t face the journey frankly.
