With the squad being as light as it currently looks I can't see past us and Crusaders, possibly Wakey fighting for the bottom slot.



Anyone more hopeful than that!!

Hopefully in the top half, i have a great affection for Quins and like so many, really want Quins to work, to fill out or at least get a crowd of about 7-8k. This is only going to be done with a winning squad so i'll go for in 2011, 7th.

I'd say around 10th/11th, above Wakey, Crusaders, Cas. And possibly Catalans

Good start top 10. Bad start could struggle to be above crusaders.

Bottom, possibly by some margin.

Unfortunately, I think you will finish bottom, although I'd rather Wakefield would. Narrowly managed to avoid finishing bottom last year, can anybody honestly say the squad is better this time around? Catalan's and Salford look to have improved, Crusaders had a decent squad anyway and despite losing some players they look to still be recruiting.

I think a new coach and a fresh ideas could benefit Quins, BM just looked un-inspiring the last few months he was in charge.

The squad may be no better, but we started last season with ten injured, if we can stay fit we may do a Crusaders and sneak into the play-offs. A big if, but with enthusiasm you can go along way. Wakey may implode, Crusaders could struggle and Catalans could finish bottom or in the top four!

It's impossible to assess until we've seen a couple of games of the Powell effect. If we have the togetherness that was sadly lacking under McDermott, some luck with injuries, a better season from Rob Purdham (our highest earner) and the Aussies impressing. The we will know!

We cannot win the league, along with many other teams. We could feasibly achieve the play-offs, along with most other teams. We have a weak squad, along with a few other teams. We could reach the top 10 if we are competitive in most matches, something that was not true for 2010. I would say we will be battling it out with Wakey, Catalans, Crusaders and Bradford for a race to finish best of the also rans. I don't think we will finish bottom, but I honestly wouldn't say with the squad as it stands that we will finish higher than 12th.

11th......at best.

Squad just looks too low on numbers this year, best reserves have already been promoted. Expect us to be sniffing the play offs mid season falling to about 13 th by the end of the season.

Somewhere between 8th and 12th I think. Its hard to know how Powell will perform as head coach but Im reasonably optimistic and theres enough ability in our thin squad to win enough games to win games at this level. Id guess 10th!

I say bottom half

Well I'm in a Glass half full mode today so I say [size=1508th[/size.

With the current squad, last.



If we lose a couple of players (which we always do) there is no depth. The backs and half backs are a huge concern with Will Sharp, Ben Jones Bishop and Danny Orr all gone. I don't see adequate replacements. And with those players in we were hardly amazing last year.

If we can stay relatively injury free & our new arrivals do actually make an impact, I reckon we should finish 8th or 9th.

There are a lot of unknown's about our squad this season but you've got to start it off believing in them.

Can't wait for the London Challenge.

A sensible assessment.



One can only bank on someone being worse than us, as happened last year. Its sad but its true.

There are too many imponderables for me at this stage. Firstly we have a new young coach who could be a revelation or hopeless, or most likely somewhere in between. I don't know enough about the new players to judge whether they're likely to improve the strength of the squad. "Somewhere in the bottom half of the table" is the best I can think of.



Oh, and can I just be the first to say I haven't had my season ticket yet. How much longer will it take to arrive? Can't this club get anything right!
