They bad news comes in three's, bad news for rugby league not Leigh, I wonder who's next, haven't we just had a round focuses on mental issues for players.

The mental issues will be drawn into the game again. Performance-enhancing drugs is one thing but Cocaine is another. Ones done to keep you at a level the other is done for pure pleasure.

I think it's important we redress the balance and show support for Rangi Chase. Self-sabotage, addiction or such related behaviours have one intention - to suppress emotion (typically perceived as bad) - PERIOD! As it's 2017, please can we make inappropriate judgments regarding an individual's emotional health permanently redundant.

He's just ruined his only emotional outlet,Rugby League. The game has looked after him through thick and thin.This is how he repays his bread and butter. His career is finished,time for someone else to look after him.

He's obviously got some serious addictive drug issues and needs help. There's many a folk round Leigh who may be suffering the same problems. Because of his stature the pressures may be empahasised but the lad needs help. Just like others who are in need of help to.



Take away all his rugby and he's a bloke suffering from severe issues and needs help. At the end of the day he's a human being - that's what the focus should be on, not how many chances in rugby he's had or how great a player he has/could stlll have been.

Making no comment on the mental health issues, there can be no excuses for his dishonesty. Leigh tried to help him by releasing him from his contract as he wanted to get away from Rugby. 3 weeks later he was back playing for Cas. Widnes take him on loan. He must have known he still had issues with drugs - so why not play week by week instead of signing a two year contract.

Not a good week for rl news now Adam Walker of Wakefield Trinity has had a positive drug test.

If the RFL tested every single player for cocaine there would be hardly any players left its rife in the game
