I expected to lose tonight but to play with only 15 (bar 5 mins) is bordering on criminal. Has any coach in SL ever done that before? To do it in a brutal, play-off match is just suicide. Heard a few things about Price that tell me his man-management is poor and the fact Jack Hughes is co-captain tells us all we need to know. Our best patch in his tenure was in spite of him. Needs to go ASAP and Fitzpatrick can go with him. Moran et al need to finally get serious.

To limp out of the playoffs like that might be the nail in the coffin for him. In the current climate the club need to get fans buying season tickets to keep them going (when we can get back in) and I can’t see there being many takers if we get served up this drivel again next year. He probably should of gone last year after going out in the early playoff stages but the Challenge cup gave him a lifeline.

Signing Inglis got me very excited for next year - after the way that Price and the team have let this season just fizzle out, all I feel for next year at the minute is sorry for Inglis, poor bugger has no idea what he's getting himself into.

Can we just clear up that it is all three of the coaches that need removing and not just Price. They are ALL responsible for this. One of these coaches had been involved throughout the Price tenure plus the dog end of Smith failure but escapes any criticism,

I don't know enough about Henderson's responsibilities to be sure. I think he is a smart guy and he did a great job at London.



Briers, absolutely. If his job isn't about making sure we have a decent attacking structure, what is it? I always thought it was a mistake for him not to have a couple of years down under or at a Championship club: after 20 odd years in the same environment, how else is he going to learn new things and fresh ideas? I guess the worry is that his golf handicap would take a hit.

We seem to have this glass ceiling at the Wire where we can only perform to a certain level & that has been a problem all the years i have watched them. We get our nearest & dearest with similar financial positions as the Wire who can just pick a manager off a shelf who does the biz & they come up with players who want to perform & do their best for the club that is paying their wages. We seriously need to look at our overseas recruitment policy for a start when we have imports that either just go through the motions or can't even get on the bench. Hill & Cooper can't do it every week.

The best person to sort Wire out would be Shaun Wane. Whether he would take that job on, who knows, but it wouldn't be a surprise to me to see it happen.
